Summer School 2018 – Citizen Participation and Urban Sustainable Development July 15-21, 2018 Published: 16 July 2018 The Summer School for this year is taking place from July 15th to July 21st in Tunis for the first time. The main objective of the Summer School is to address active change makers at the grassroots and civil society level within the field of urban sustainable development. The 21 participants, who are active change-makers at the grassroots and civil society level, come from 7 countries: Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon. During the Summer school, they will study the urban space, its importance and the different ways of how to be an active citizen and of creating interventions in the urban space through a rich and diverse program with several practical experiences.
