Asma Ben Hadj Hassen

Asma Ben Hadj Hassen is a doctoral student in social anthropology at the Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (BIGSAS). Her doctoral research is focused on the migration trajectories of 'sub-Saharan' domestic workers in Tunisia. She holds a master’s degree in African Studies and a bachelor’s degree in French studies from the University of Sousse in Tunisia. She worked as a research assistant in multiple research projects on migration, gender, and human trafficking.
