Promouvoir la transformation démocratique et garantir les droits humains

L'objectif

Parmi les principes fondamentaux de la Fondation Heinrich Böll, nous citons; la démocratie de genre, les droits humains universels et inaliénables et la justice basée sur des normes juridiques qui devraient être adoptés librement par un état de droit, et que hbs défend sans cesse. Notre programme Démocratie et Transition Démocratique, accompagne le processus transitionnel en Tunisie en veillant sur la compatibilité des lois avec la Constitution et les conventions internationales. Le but de ce programme est d’établir les piliers et les assises pour une transition démocratique, et ce par la consolidation de l'égalité et de la justice des sexes et des genres, la promotion d'un environnement juridique respectueux des droits humains fondamentaux, des libertés individuelles et collectives, ainsi que de la dignité humaine garantit par l’État de droit.

Hence, it is crucial to analyze the ways in which the responses of the Tunisian authorities' to the pandemic and the implementation of effective and proportionate security measures have affected the civil rights and individual freedoms of citizens. In this interview, Mahassen Segni, our Democracy Program Coordinator, speaks to Professor Wahid Ferchichi, Professor at the Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences of Carthage University and founder of the Tunisian Association for the Defense of Individual Liberties, about the challenges of having effective COVID-19 measures while staying committed to the protection of individual rights and liberties for the whole period of the crisis.
