Nidhal has developed a good experience in Tunisian civil society over the last years. He currently heads the environmental policy programme at the Heinrich Böll Foundation's office in Tunis. A position he has held since January 2018.

Nidhal focuses on issues that link ecology with politics and development. This explains his particular interest in debates and experiences that address political ecology.

Being involved in anchoring green ideas of inclusiveness, sustainability and solidarity among civil society actors and policy makers, Nidhal advocates for 'deep ecology'.

In addition, Nidhal is an expert in climate change and climate negotiations.

Nidhal holds a degree in natural sciences and a research master's degree in marine biology, both from the Faculty of Sciences in Tunis.
